Man that Grade Fire is ripping through some of the most beautiful places in the county. I love it out there.

I'd love to see some fellow journalists and aspiring journalists at this! Pull up, say hi!

Worth noting they’ve used this for decades. It’s a cultural issue that goes far beyond this admin or Greg Bovino. Read @memomiller.bsky.social ‘s border patrol nation if you want to learn about it.
Aaron Reichlin-Melnick"Tonk" is a Border Patrol slur that refers to the sound a metal flashlight makes when used to beat a migrant in the head. And that's the word that Border Patrol agents under the direct command of Greg Bovino were using when bragging about their arrests in Los Angeles last year.
Another great thread on Myanma’a roads. Just today a junta column was ambushed on one of these!
Edith Mirante1. This History Thread is about the roads of Burma (Myanmar). In contrast to rivers & railways (subjects of previous threads) these transport corridors have often been lower priority. Currently roads are scenes of coup regime convoys & anti-coup ambushes. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
This is going to happen more and more until people in power and in the media stop lying about the basis for asylum. People don’t risk their lives to come here for nothing, they do it because it’s the only chance they have at safety.
Matt OrtegaStephen Miller said just the other day that all asylum claims are "fake." A couple deported from the U.S. to Guatemala were gagged, bound, and shot dead. Their 14-month old found crying next to their mother's body. People like Miller don't care though because this is the point: ethnic cleansing.
If you’re organizing your community against a data center or a golf course, let’s talk! DMs are open. Extra points if you’re siding with the javelina against golf
James StoutNo golf, no masters!
This may shock some of you, but I think golf is also inherently wrong and evil!
Dave Karpf"Even if the number of data centers increases tenfold, we may still end up using less water on artificial intelligence than we use [to water our lawns/golf courses]." Hi, quick question: the hyperscalers are planning to spend like $7 trillion building datacenters. It that a lot or a little?
