Honestly, I’m beginning to think Donald Trump might not be, or be able to accomplish, all the things he promised when he was running for his second term. Am I alone in this?

At least Maria Bartiromo asked the question. Give her that. But, as usual when an official smiles and lies directly into the camera in response, she never follows up or challenges the lies. Kevin Hassett is a relentless liar. And his lies are typically absurd and preposterous.

The thing about strategy is you really want to have one, say, before you start a war. You can always course-correct and make changes to a strategy when you see the results are not meeting your goals and objectives. But you really need to have one at the outset.

Gov. Andy Beshear is demanding in a new letter that Mitch McConnell "directly and verbally address the people of Kentucky and provide proof of your capacity to serve, or resign." I think that’s a fair and reasonable step.

Elon Musk has long been accused of over-promising and under-delivering. Neither company is on the verge of disappearing, of course, but both face the "Capital Drain Risk." This occurs when a company spends cash on speculative, long-horizon promises faster than its core cash engines can supply it.

I understand that Hakeem Jeffries is one hell of a fundraiser. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to have any hellraiser in him. He seems like more of an “all hat, not cattle” kinda guy to me.

Nice sound bite from Mr. Jeffries. He’s a tremendous fundraiser so the party has great respect for him. But I sense many Democratic and Independent voters have lost a lot of respect for him in recent months. Lots of talk, not so much strategy. “All hat, no cattle” comes to mind.

World leaders and politicians must line up to be interviewed by Maria Bartiromo. She allows any and all lies. Zero pushback. Ever. She is neither a journalist nor a reporter. She is a disgrace to every intelligent woman in the media. It’s become embarrassing for her and FOX News.

Canada is such a beautiful country, @marynlm.bsky.social. And the people have always been welcoming, friendly and gracious. Great neighbors. I understand their frustration and anger with this administration and today’s America. I look forward to a return to our historic relationship.
