Today is Roma Holocaust Memorial Day. Around 500,000 Roma & Sinti people were killed by the Nazis in the Porajmos. There was no state given to them after the war. Commemoration of their suffering is often diminished or forgotten. Racism towards Romani people across Europe remains acceptable.

If you are writing a letter your MP about cuts in HE and they are Labour - ask them if they're comfortable with a woman whose only real achievement is costing thousands of jobs being in charge of helping them keep theirs.

Incidently whenever I post about anti-Romani racism in society- its always academics that unfollow me because of it. Conversely its non-academics that follow when I do these posts.
