I love how #Gemini (and other #LLMs) *still* blatantly lie about being able to read content at URLs, though sometimes they tell you they can't, other times they tell you they can. When they appear to do so, it is an illusion, based on previously ingested material. (When not RAG etc obvs.)

It comes from having to propose the paper so far from the conference. But you don't want to report on work already done because that will be more than a year out of date but the time of the conference. I once had an abstract refused because a reviewer said "he hasn't done the work yet"!?! #DH2026
