I doubt there's any old Tory Party left to do that. The Ken Clarke types left during the Brexit mania. The rump membership are indistinguishable from Reform and could easily be in either, lots of them probably are in both. Labour is just reluctant to be part of coalitions, which is a shame.

He did some fairly dodgy deals with developers. Doesn't bode well for handing out piles of money to largely unnaccountable local mayors and councils if he's not too bothered about corruption.
