Most of the veg we put in food comes from the freezer. When making a stew all the veg comes from tins. We add fresh fruit/veg when we know we're able to use it immediately/within a minimal period of time. Minimises the waste while still making sure we get a variety of foods.

We're a small country, but this month alone there has been reporting of two men who murdered their current or former partners, and then took their own lives to evade justice. They're the ones who hit the headlines. Endless other women and children will be suffering invisibly. Men: do better.
