Amazing work to everyone who spoke up about this! @streetsforall.org One note: I detest when people say local government is not political, as some mayors in this meeting did. Of course it's political! And a quick tell that one of the mayors saying this called it the "Democrat party":

Joe Linton

Wow! Repeat: Full L.A. County City Selection Committee has failed to ratify Santa Clarita Councilmember Jason Gibbs for the Metro board.

Transit data from @usdot.bsky.social count "boardings." But "linked trips"—a journey, treating transfers as part of 1 trip—should be tracked, esp. for subways & gridded buses. I submitted a comment on this: www.regulations.gov/comment/DOT-... Submit yours here: www.regulations.gov/document/DOT...

Many reports cite @usdot.bsky.social NTD annual data. However, it's not clear that "annual" numbers are aggregates of each agency's various fiscal years. Problem for 2020, e.g. I submitted a comment on this: www.regulations.gov/comment/DOT-... Submit yours here: www.regulations.gov/document/DOT...
