My favorite cheese, available at Yelping Dog downtown, is Red Dragon cheddar from Somerdale. It's a nice soft cheddar full of mustard seed and ale, with a beautiful red wax rind. Pair with a sourdough pretzel and bitter beer and prepare to lose your mind.

I enjoyed the inclusion of Balthus as a sort of audience surrogate - really grounded the story, and gave Conan an opportunity to be genuinely likeable

Just finished Beyond the Black River! Very good - snappy and action packed while remaining evocative, and maintaining a sense of rich history and a much larger and more complex world context than the setting of the story alone.
