I still don't understand why they decided to end the Dark Souls series if they're going to just recycle things from it to put in Elden Ring. I have a hard time believing this is supposed to be Miyazaki's "magnum opus" IP if it's going to continue nostalgia baiting with the old stuff. Give us new.

Monsanto holds patents on seed genetics and has taken entire farms to court over copyright infringement for "illegal planting" of patented seeds. By all rights, farms that rely on Monsanto seeds can't produce without Monsanto's say-so =/= ownership.
