It's nice not needing to understand Mesa's codebase to make a Mesa fork that just produces TGSI bytecode to be passed into the virgl driver in like 2 days (tgsi is also barely documented)
6 months ago it fixed a bug I couldn't fix in a work codebase and that's when it clicked for me.
I also used it to get bugfixes and old feature branches merged into a niche os after 2 years.
It also made uxplay screen mirroring work on ios6 so I can record my screen (nothing else works)
You know that before oil, there was coal, right? Coal that also polluted the planet but also had far more human labor behind it, that destroyed worker health?
