I am not sure there are any reliable, trustworthy sources of information when it comes to this war. For all our modern technology… very little truth seems to seep out. Perplexing and fascinating.

I no longer view the US DoD/DoW (or whatever they’re calling themselves now) as a reliable source for trustworthy and accurate information.

I struggle with this constantly. After I returned from Iraq in 2007 I had a vasectomy—the things I saw there convinced me of how sad, depressing, and evil our timeline is. Then, my current wife, who knew I had a vasectomy when we got married said that not having children would be a dealbreaker…

20-year Army veteran here… my service cost me my youth, mind, and body. I deeply regret what I participated in and did, and with every waking day I imagine what I could have done in an actually positive way with my life instead… … but, yeah, mindless “patriotism” for all.

At my last unit before retiring in 2023, in a recently reactivated Corps HQ, there was a rampant suicide problem… and you know what? It was swept under the rug as much as possible and leadership all the way to the very top gave little to no fucks. So this news surprises me not in the slightest.
