The Prisoner being on Criterion has been an ecstatic cultural moment for me

I've been revisiting the Fallout universe for both my agonies and sins. I finished Fallout 4 (via one titanic final crash at the end of the main questline). Now for New Vegas: I downloaded 81 mods, then 3 more to fix the bugs they caused, ranging from "glitchy music" to "sorry, everybody bald."

I've just been astonished by how good this goddamn vampire show is. They spent two seasons doing this masterful slow build to a personal tragedy and then were like, "from now on the show is a maniacal rockumentary with a ranting self-destructive narrator. We saw Velvet Goldmine 10,001 times."

Told Waverly, "Henry II and Thomas Becket were the original Posh and Becks" and waited for applause which was not forthcoming

I could not be prouder to be nominated for the Le Guin. To be acknowledged as part of her tradition is an honor.

TOMORROW AT THE STUD...come see trans writers read about anything other than transition. I'll probably be reading the opening of Translunar, my astronaut book out in 2027. It's one of the chapters about hot jets, but transition MAY be mentioned, despite my heroine's best efforts to stanch the flow.
