Looking at Mahmood & Miliband's relative favourability with Labour 2024 voters (presumably the group Burnham is trying to win back) the likely choice of Mahmood as Chancellor is hard to understand, I can only think Blue Labour have much more leverage or alignment with Burnham than is apparent to me.
