Research assistant and editor. And, long ago, I won some neat awards while writing for Dr. Ed Madison, Erik Bender, and Miranda Anderson. I usually post about real-world locations and objects that offer inspiration for games and stories.

The set you designed for your episode 1 of Nemsis World was quite neat! I especially liked your forest.

A low-level battle around the stairs and cascading fountain could be neat! The water is too strong to cross, but Cold damage temporarily freezes it, allowing someone to cross. Also, blocking the water in such a way can cause it to overflow onto the stairs, creating a new hazard.

You introduced an interesting concept I commented about on your YouTube channel.

Heh. I don't think it is phallic enough for Musk.

Heh. I didn't expect the change in time or genre with that last twist.

The island and the castle have some interesting folklore tethered to the Mathesons!

Do you have plans for the Wurm of Doom's death spreading corruption or mutation through its blood once it is slain?

120

Yeah, I like your idea of the structure being one element of a complex ritual.

Perhaps the garden is linked to the fey or the divine, and to take a valuable herb, perhaps one that can cure undeath, requires something of equal value, that isn't gold, to be left in the garden.

110

Haha! That is pretty great.

010

Oh, I am working on a list of random encounters for the Exalted: Essence game I am running. I will send you a copy once I am done. I think you will enjoy it.

Has the Wurm of Doom earned monikers from the locations it has destroyed (e.g., Breaker of the Spellsword Academy) or other epithets for its feats of destruction?

110

How did you go about creating the creature? What themes did you want, and did you have any sources of inspiration?

110

Hey! That is also what I thought.

010

Heh. That reminds me of Dante's Seventh Circle of Hell in the Divine Comedy.

010

Excellent! I will go watch it.
