So, you want another GOP vote against everything you believe in? Mitch is not currently able to vote. His seat is not vacant, so nobody can fill it. Even if it were vacant, it most likely will be filled with a GOP member that can vote against your beliefs.

Why aren’t you hounding the KY GOP? They have more pull in this situation. I’d be up the ass of every KY GOP legislator & the KY GOP US Senator & House reps. If I were a KY Dem I’d pop some corn & watch the tale unfold because the GOP is down a vote in the Senate. You’re welcome.

That seat is not vacant. Mitch still owns it until he’s dead, resigns (hence Andy’s wording), or he is expelled by the Senate.

The only thing I can come up with is they might be afraid Massie would run for the seat & win. Otherwise, I have no clue.
