Happy to let everybody know that it's almost August and I've finally figured out what my email signature this summer should be

Students this semester are NOT getting that alt text isn't usually visible. I may have been unclear on whether they should include it anyway for the sake of practicing for a class. But I'm also curious: Do they not read anything ever to know they've rarely if ever SEEN image descriptions?

10 left. I currently feel like I could get them all done today if only I didn't have so many other things to do.

Native speakers of (American?) english loooooove to insert random prepositions and turn everything into a phrasal verb. It seems to be percieved as lowering the register and sounding more informal/casual. Might also be coming from when up and for are necessary in "look it up" or "search for it"?

(Seemingly) recommending DuckDuckGo but asking the glorified ackinator what it thinks about the genericization of "google it" is actually pretty weird my guy, I'm not gonna lie.

It definitely doesn't make you sound old, but it definitely does increasingly make me think you're actually literally using Google the product specifically, and I probably will ask you more or less nicely to NOT DO THAT for the health of your own information literacy.

Spent quite a while deciding if I should go get bubble tea or not, so I flipped a coin for it. Tails, so no bubble tea. I got watermelon oolong. It's pretty good.

Two done. I am not sure that I can keep going at this time. I may have to let them know most of them won't be getting grades back until Monday or Tuesday.

Only one done. I decided to use a checklist rubric in my feedback this time, to see how I like it. I'm mixed. I feel like formatting it nicely to read is giving it a ChatGPT look that I'm rather eager to avoid.
