Oh shit, I hadn't heard about the VR mode. Been dusting off my PSVR2 setup lately (loved the Moss games), so this is some welcome news.

Went and looked out of morbid curiosity and was expecting the worst. BUT, aside from just a few of the normal idiots, the vast majority of people replying to that tweet are dunking on him. Was a nice surprise.

Played this a little over a year ago and loved it. Super impressive what you were able to accomplish with the tiny res and runtime.

But yeah, these movies are in a rough spot. They've built their whole thing on crossovers, but that's not good for casual viewers It also *really* doesn't help that a lot the stuff released post 2019 or so has been poor even to diehards. I'd count the last Thor among the worst movies I've ever seen

I only ever saw the first season of Loki, but I'd say it was the best thing they've put out post Endgame (and tbh better than a bunch of the stuff before).

This looks rad af but also highlights the problem these days with discoverability. Like I feel like I pay more attention to game releases than most people who don't have to do it for a living and this is the first time I've ever even heard of this game, and it's pretty much right up my alley!

lol, I remember some people hyping the BC Morrowind because they raised the resolution and fps and I think they also fixed a bug that would tank perf the longer you played on a save. But was still smeary old Morrowing on XBox. It was neat that they did all that but still the worst way to play it.

iirc it was ok but had inverted camera controls you couldn't change. Either horizontal or vertical (or maybe both) and not great performance to boot. An up-rezzed version with better performance and an invert toggle would probably be good.

Not saying those people aren't legit "gamers" or anything, just that they're a different type of audience and maybe the classic "plays games on multiple platforms and genres" demographic hasn't grown at a commensurate rate.

People are always saying gaming has grown so much, but I've always wondered if you took out the people who play one/two games forever and the ones who only play just mobile games if the remaining audience has really increased that much over the years.
