Running against JD Vance is the moral thing to do, but it’s ALSO good strategy. Senate races tend to nationalize, so why not target such a pathetic, uncharismatic & odious person & say “this is who I’m running against”? Even a blind person can see Vance hates his wife’s blood- this won’t hurt Abdul

I think it’s a remarkably stupid thing for a political candidate to say. This is not the first time people have pointed out Vance’s hypocrisy on this issue, but to pull his children into it and say that you somehow know what’s in Vance’s mind about his own kids is over the line.

Not a fan of this piece. Unless you uncritically accept the prosecution’s narrative, there’s no reason to assume the other defendants had any intentions outside of legally-protected-protest! It’s also telling that the article treats extremely normal protest safety tips (like Signal) as radical
