Another handoff reject, this time in clutch time on a vital possession. Courtney Williams with a spin, pivoting away from her momentum going towards Napheesa Collier, losing Catilin Clark, and drilling the middy. Great pace here, I like the early utilization of the second side.
Jonah MavesI love the rejects within the Lynx offense. The guards do such a fantastic job at reading the overplaying defense on Zoom actions, playing through a frontcourt player as the hub. The hub, whether that has been Natasha Howard or now Napheesa Collier's passes have also been great.
Maya Caldwell's hustle and scrappiness is just so fun. Whether it's OREB's, securing 50/50 balls, or showing a ton of effort defensively, she has found ways to make her impact by any means necessary.
Jonah MavesMaya Caldwell has an OREB rate of 6.3% this season. 2nd among all Guards with 20+ GP per WNBA dot com stats.
I really think Phee’s superpower is the ability to play within the flow of the offense and schematics, and balance her own aggression within that.
Jonah MavesNapheesa Collier looked like someone was coming back from an extended time and injury in her return vs Seattle, but yesterday vs Indiana she really looked like her old self.
Pistol 5 again being signaled, here by Olivia Miles. Natasha Howard gets the pistol entry, Miles rejects the handoff, cuts, Howard finds her. Beautiful.
Jonah MavesI love small nuances like this. Eliska Hamzova signals pistol then 5, Ola Kosu immediately comes to the elbow extended.
I am just chuckling in front of my laptop at this point, look at the split from Olivia Miles on the empty side PnR.
Jonah MavesJust a few possessions later, Miles pushes it after a made basket by Indiana. Natasha Howard sets a screen to erase Kelsey Mitchell at half-court. Miles scoots around Aliyah Boston for another reverse lay. Cool, calm, and collected.

Jonah MavesThe craft of Olivia Miles... Empty side PnR with Natasha Howard, Monique Billings and Kelsey Mitchell in Ice coverage, forcing Miles to reject the screen. Miles rejects, loses Mitchell with the hostage dribble, and gets around Billings for the reverse.
