The internet's definitive source for reliable factually accurate barely news and almost information about science fiction. Inexplicably a six-time Hugo finalist. hugoclub.blogspot.ca

Very much looking forward to this book.

Ok! It's my last full day at #gencon, and here's where you can find me. It's signing day as well, so if you've grabbed books from the Symposium bookstore, come see me at 3pm at back of exhibit hall in Author/Artist Alley. I will have free pins and chapbooks!

To be fair, if you ask the Indigenous Nations of what is now called Massachusetts, the term "babies of invaders" could be a reference to Mayflower families.

Sen. Jim Banks repeatedly refers to American citizens as "babies of invaders"

The guide for @laworldcon.bsky.social is online. Noticing some pretty huge names involved. Among others, it's kind of cool to see @wilwheaton.net on a panel or two! guide.lacon.org

This is an amazing video from Camille Hernandez (www.camillehernandez.com). Pretty excited for the @laworldcon.bsky.social poetry track!

Boo. This show was actually good. And I say that about so few Marvel Movie-related products. Wonder Man had something to say about people, about relationships, and about art. It had a cast that was really quite excellent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen is fucking great), solid dialogue.

"Unless Middle Earth experienced the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, I don't know that we can say they have White people." -- @jamellebouie.net Is absolutely💯correct about this. (Bonus points to Mr. Bouie for having what I think is a Polaroid 680 on his shelf. Similar to a SX-70, but better.)

Since #EventsDearBoy is into the Top-10 events of all time, I'm wondering where in the list @tomewing.bsky.social will put Judgement Day. It's the 1997 comic book crossover that nobody other than me remembers. Written by Alan Moore, art by Gil Kane and ... uh ... Rob Liefeld.
