Reminder: tomorrow Broadway btw Alberta St & Cambie St will be closed for 6 mo. Buses detour to W 8th but "no turn except buses" signs attempt to prevent private vehicles from doing the same. Instead they will filter on to the side streets where there are many busy bike routes. #bikeyvr 1/4

Closure alert: The construction of a separated bike lane north of 2nd Ave to north of 1st Ave along Ontario St has started. This has resulted in a full closure of Ontario between Walter Hardwick and 2nd Ave. The closure will be in place until May-June. #bikeyvr

The final design for Kent Ave (Phase 1) improvements is out. (h/t @markburge.ca) It's, well, it won't be winning any AT design awards. Also, this is 700m of an 8km route that needs overhaul. Also, as expected, last year's motion to explore use of the rail line has affected this work. #bikeyvr
