i don't usually get involved in drama, but i am the original "discoverer" of joe is hungry, years before he started making viral rounds, which annoy me every time they happen. do not fall for his "nice guy" bullshit because of his editing; he's a curmudgeonly right wing asshole who edits well.

i'm not here to tell you specifically how you need to react to this info; that's up to you. i just think people should know that this guy isn't great! he's a dud! maybe he IS just a typical 60+ year old man from georgia, but i think a lot of people wanted to believe that wasn't true. thus, i posted

i didn't post this because this is the worst behavior ever witnessed. that's not it! joe has stripped nearly all personality from his videos because the metrics suggested he should stop, and so a lot of people find him because some huge streamer shares him as "such a nice guy," which just isn't true

i can't remember every clip in the video right now, but i believe the one is in there where he says that the employees are "stupid enough to talk to him with 7 cameras pointed at them" as if they have some kind of choice about that at their shitty minimum wage job???????????

i fully get why people so quickly fall in love with joe; it happened to me, too. but after you spend enough time with someone, you start to notice patterns, and then someone in my community started coming across this material and that was the end for me. like this guy really sucks!

this is the key, he knows (well, sorta, he's spent plenty of time mistreating food workers on camera) exactly what to put in his videos because he's entirely obsessed w metrics and watch time, but if you spend even a couple minutes with him outside of that, his real personality is instantly apparent
