Hank Green has been in my bad books for a while now. I can't say this is a surprise. His research has been sloppy before he started using actual slop. 🙄
A. K. VenrinnOmg not Hank Green using AI for research and calling to his “bad habit” 💀😭🤡

The anger/disappointment of The Odyssey film is understandable to me.I felt a similar anger/disappointment with the LotR films initially, which have quite a dramatically different agenda to the books.
Aya Vandenbussche (she/her)Well, I must say I was taken by surprise by the Odyssey. And I think I rather loved it, and even got highly emotional for the first time in a Nolan film. And no, it's not like the book, which I read many times and I love. But I wasn't really ready for what this film is about.
I keep thinking, maybe I'm overreacting about AI. Maybe I should let it go a bit. But then I see that these companies are destroying rare book in peak dystopian Fahrenheit 451 way, and I just want to cry. The bubble may burst, but so much damage is already done.
Aya Vandenbussche (she/her)I'm so bored and annoyed with people telling me 'I used AI I didn't have a choice it's built in to the search.' The laziness of it depresses me. I replied to someone who told me this today. 'You like to hike, would you catch a lift to your destination if a car passed you by in your hike?'
Last night my mystery was Pride. A film about a moment in time that I never knew about and ut was rather wonderful.
Aya Vandenbussche (she/her)My pick for the mystery movie tomorrow at the Prince Charles Cinema. Previously my picks were: Hellzapoppin and The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. What will be next? princecharlescinema.com/film/2612/my...

My review of Solaris. Needles to say I think this is a brilliant and haunting book. There are some spoilers. #booksky #sci-fi hardcover.app/books/solari...
I came to the conclusion that Flight of the Conchords were a lot better, and funnier, than Nirvana the a Band.
Aya Vandenbussche (she/her)2. Are there any films about women's friendship that has no sexual undertones? Thelma and Louise is the only one that comes to mind. Still it has more men in it than the two aforementioned films have women in.
