We scored a couple of tickets to the fireworks on the Brooklyn side. The line queuing up to enter was likely the longest line I have ever been in. In that line I saw Buddhist monks, women in Hijabs, people all of ages and types. It was orderly, self-organizing, giving me hope for our future.
