Today in automatic captions versus Craft Sequence terms (and my accent): Skazzerai has become: scadrial, scatserai, scatherae, scaerii Scatserai makes the most sense based on my pronunciation. No idea where the others came from.

Been in such a reading slump lately. Picked up Temeraire for a reread, and finished it in an afternoon. Forgot just how good this series is at its best. (...there are a lot of not at its best moments, sure, but the good bits are GREAT)

My parents had the same perspective with me. Apparently a mum at school said she read every book before her child did, but I read so many there was no chance she could get there ahead of me. Also she had waaaay more of an issue with violence and guns in films etc than anything sexual.

Think on my next full series reread I'm going to particularly note pop culture, references to pets, what one actually studies at the Hidden Schools, and company/Concern names. Also any geography I missed for the maps.
