we can have both! ive been thinking about xonotic today and ive been meaning to run it over on linux :D

ps: even though things are grim now, i still wish for a Q3A remaster at quakecon, could be nice

and maybe that will happen again one day, but for now i think the best course of action is to help those who are interested and just have a good time with people you know are probably gonna kick your ass, but are also willing to help you get to grips. also quake live's tutorials are pretty cool.

i havent played reflex arena, maybe ill get around to it someday, but as someone who has been playing and creating for old shooters for quite some time now, i think the best introduction for beginners is to just play with your friends. yeah ofc id want the servers to be packed all the time

strangely enough, i think the id remasters are the closest to how i would want a lot more of the multiplayer side of arena shooters to be done, just minus the bethnet account stuff (does it still do that?) just having a nice set of mods that you can coop or DM on with your friends on there is great!

I want to know what its like to fall down the stairs in this thing.
