I would’ve loved this as a kid. I did brownies and girl guides. We rarely went outside. It was mostly arts and crafts in church basements. I quit pathfinders because it was just tweens sitting and talking in church basements. Gender segregation sucks actually.

I've found most people in Scouting are supportive of the belated inclusivity, and this piece refutes the hostility of naysayers so elegantly.
