All the people telling me ‘you’re going to be fine you came here legally.’ I am not. If this goes ahead, I will have to leave despite having been in the UK for almost 6 years (8 when my current visa expires). I own a flat, have friends, pay my taxes but all Shabana cares about is my salary.

For the following graduate level jobs over half of visas granted in country in 2025 paid below £50,270 and below either the higher salary threshold or the higher going rate; this would mean having to emigrate.
