I've said this before and again: modern transphobia, with its intense focus on youth being "corrupted" into trans-ness is basically word for word old school 1930s Nazi propaganda about homosexuality, that Jews were corrupting the youth there can be no trans rights with antisemitism.

there's this weird knee jerky reaction that "no of course they're not antisemites!" to any antisemitism, I think a lot a lot of people believe antisemitism is a thing that happened 1933-1945 and accusing people of it today is like saying they hate the Irish or own slaves.

fair enough, calling her the center wing is an exaggeration But with that said, she also solidly isnt on the Warren wing of the party either. She is still in the corporate dem wing, as seen by her testy relationship with Unions, her actions regarding CMP, her issues with tribal sovereignty...

it speaks to actually not knowing anything about Mills to call her "the center wing of the party" her actual record is more like Elizabeth Warren as governor of a small North East state than say Mark Warner.

Mills never actually dropped out, she remained on the ballot and was very well known by virtue of being the governor. And even after it came out Platner was a rapist, Mills lost to Collins by greater margins than he did That should speak to how much voters dislike the center wing of the party
