The fan encyclopedia for the animation studio created by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera in the late 50s to when it closed in the late 90s. Pop culture enthusiast. It's fun-fun-fun-tastic! (Run by James + Allie)

I understand that Catherine Disher couldn't play Jean anymore b/c there was too much of a demand for her voice (even more so 30 yrs later), but Jennifer Hale was not a good replacement. Hale is a great actress and it's not the first time she has been Jean, but not this Jean, the 90s Jean Grey. Sorry

I still can't stand Dale and Khan's new voices. A lump of their souls sound removed

I hope this is the furthest I ever get with a spoiler. I still can't believe I avoided May finding out Peter's secret and then crapped it up for myself when I bought it on Prime and accidentally moved the cursor on the time stamp and saw her expression and just knew.

If you’ve seen the movie yet, let me know if you noticed the little Columbo moment in Spider-Man.

Super Friends comic and poster in the newest Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. Joy factor activated.

They made Casey a former cop to add a layer to his character, but he's completely uninteresting and Amell has no chemistry with Fox. Their whole relationship comes off as childish. None of the banter that the 1990 movie had.

I hate TMNT: Out of the Shadows. All it does is play on 80s cartoon nostalgia and a trailer for an unmade third movie. It's a horribly written movie. But I do like Mikey's arc of wanting to be accepted by the top world.

When they run out of things to do with Shredder, his entire part in the movie is cut short by them putting him on ice just so he could be saved for another movie. At least when Han Solo was put on ice, it was at the end and served a purpose. When the writers froze Shredder, it was them being lazy.

Every TMNT cartoon jumps the shark when it runs out of ideas after several seasons. Rise of the TMNT jumped the shark right from the beginning. Oh, well, that's enough TMNT posts.

* Krang

Hanna-Barbera Wiki

It can't live up to its own hype, only adding Vanilla Ice, super mutants, and touches upon the origins of the Turtles, as opposed to going full in with Kang puppets and alien worlds and dimensions, which isn't impossible since Jim Henson Company already did The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.

Jim Henson Company missing out on Krang puppets. Whyyyyyyyyy! #tmnt

Eastman Laird hated Bebop and Rocksteady so much, they didn't want them in Secret of the Ooze, so they were replaced with Tokkar and Rahzor. Simply rename them!

Secret of the Ooze might as well have been called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1.5

While I love Mutany Mayhem, I think the best TMNT is the original. It is the least restrained and purest of them all and really has this nostalgic 90s cringe, but it's really amusing and entertaining to watch. It really sets up this great series that falls flat the moment they do the sequel.

Robo-Wrestlemania, Spy Quest, and Stone Age Smackdown are all heartfelt attempts at shining a light on neglected HB properties, and it's a shame most people won't watch them because they're attached to questionable crossover choices. I (Alexandra!) enjoy them more than Jellystone or DC's HB comics

Sounds like watching the first American president. Also, I don't think Paramount is interested in doing another show set in the past. Even when they did Discovery, they permanently jumped in the future beyond the TNG movie era. Spoiler alert. Forsooth, see how Jonathan Archer led as the 1st UFOP.

Can't say I would be interested in Archer playing President of the United Federation of Planets, but when I watched DS9, they had their president at the time, and a West Wing set in space looked cool (to me). "Star Trek: United" just sounds so old and boring. #startrek

"Let's show how bad the environment can be if we don't protect it!" - Someone suggesting Jetsons: The Movie Opposed to a credible plot line involving the entire shutdown of technology the world has become reliant on to survive. Maybe there is in fact part of the world that doesn't depend on it?

I think it would be interesting if they did a series where it was about Clark's life at the Daily Planet where he used his powers to report on crime. Maybe that was Lois & Clark, IDK. But doing a series where it wasn't about his alien heritage and just the reporting would be different.

I liked Carl and Pops being added to Johnny's circle. It just worked so well.

I think if Johnny Bravo were to seriously come back, it should have a King of the Hill type revival, or just bring back the James Tim Walker version. His one was more to the point, instead of Van Partible trying to give an air of sophistication. Overall, it should also be relevant.
