the only thing that is happening on my academic bluesky feed is "the odyssey" discourse which is, like, cool, folks, but an entire academic organization representing THOUSANDS has been DECHARTERED by its PARENT ORG in the course of like 72 HOURS.

the fact that bluesky is not all a bustle with 4Cs news is just nuts to me. where the academics at who will react to this?! 👀 like, this was the largest rhet/comp academic org EN EL MUNDO ENTERO. it had a 75+ yr history. it supported the flagship journal in its field. like, o.m.g.
