If this truly goes through, you won't ever see me on Twitch again. I won't stream, and I won't be tuning into streams. Shit like this is going to fuck with income for so many people, and I truly hope it does not come to this.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I dont know if this is brazen or it has just become so normalized that people who use the stuff don't see it anymore but the text that opens the final paragraph on the right on the big slides for your sdcc presentation is WILD
