Fifteen years ago this week, I finished knitting this beauty - The Central Park Hoodie (pattern by Heather Lodinsky). I had to look at my Ravelry notes to figure out what I'd done with it, since I looked at this picture and was like… I vaguely remember making it….? 🧵

A lot of my morning computer work looks the same these days. There's a lot about running your own business that can be stressful, but… this isn't one of those things. And it sure does beat getting into an office by 9AM every morning, wearing uncomfortable shoes and having to talk to people!

It's only Monday and I've already had a rough week - and my allergies are trying to pack my sinuses full of oatmeal (or at least that what it feels like). So I'm going to go heavy on the taking it easy and/or working on Super Secret Things in the studio and light on the social media this week. 🤎

Stay with Shopify, or….?Pardon me while I think out loud for a thousand words or so. The ecommerce platform I use for HaldeCraft is Shopify. I started with Etsy in 2010 and quickly moved to Shopify in 2012 (you can somewhat read about that here). Earlier this year they sent out an email that I didn't have time/brain power to deal with when I read it, so I put it off until I did. I guess July is the month to deal with it because it's almost all I've been able to think about for a couple of weeks now.www.snarkland.com

Do you ever just want to start over?I've had to start over, start fresh, so many times. In ... sixteen (?) years of school, I went to three different grade schools, three different middle schools (technically I went back to the first one after six months at one in a different city - we moved a lot), two or three different high schools depending on how you count (my last year of high school was also my first year of college; dual enrollment at a combo art school/community college), then a second college for the rest of my Associate's degree, and a third college for my Bachelor's.www.snarkland.com

Making sure a lid fits is a game of patience. Cut out some of the canister opening. Lower the lid into it and see if it fits - gently, so that if it doesn't, it's easy to lift the lid back up again. Repeat those two steps until you get a fit that you feel is comfortable and not too tight/too loose.
