I don't think they nest nearby. There's a forest in AL that is known as a nesting site as they migrate north again.

A juvenile Blue Jay flutters his/her wings to get the attention of nearby parents in hopes of getting some food delivered.

This year I haven't seen as many butterflies as usual, so this one was a treat. The cloudless sulphers are usually in the distance, but not since spring. #Invertebrates

Other Hummingbirds are always waiting in the trees. 🪶

There are 3 hummingbird feeders and the others are still full. This one was busy in the morning with the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds 🪶

A Carolina Chickadee was bouncing around in the maple tree as they often do. #birdbutt 🪶
