Also the ep concluding poorly makes scenes Zuko and Katara have together feel a bit strange to me Two episodes from now Zuko randomly starts attacking Aang, and Katara doesn't assume there's any betrayal happening Painted Lady might not be great, but it doesn't have any ripple effects like this

I mostly like the Southern Raiders, but I think it's weird that it ends on Katara forgiving Zuko when Zuko basically just enabled her worst instincts for the whole ep I think the conclusion really undermines her imo legitimate grievances w/ him up until that point

I wanna be pretentious and argue that all the fire nation tanks and balloons looking kinda weird adds to their industrial alien-ness

Why would she do that? What's out there?
