Last night @rodericogorman.bsky.social was on Primetime about the deterioration in our water quality. We need access to clean water, not just for our health, but also because water is such a huge part of our economy, our biodiversity and increasingly our wellness and leisure. #speirgorm

A missed opportunity to make all our lives better, all while creating a situation where infrastructure could be even more delayed. And blaming everyone else for his own Government’s failures.

The Irish Language Commissioner, says that there are serious delays to the delivery of public services in Irish. We have a new generation of Irish speakers because of Gaelscoileanna over the last 20 years and other cultural reasons so there is a pool of young graduates who could be recruited from.

Something that we were really pleased to see while we were in Government was the free schoolbooks scheme But we know that many schools are insisting that students have laptops and tablets. Along with uniforms, voluntary contributions and other costs, that puts a lot of pressure on many parents.

It’s easier for many to either pretend that climate action isn’t needed, or even effective. But the truth is it does make a difference.

Fine Gael have been in government for 15 years straight. Fianna Fáil have been in government for 62 out of the last 100 years. But it's the Green Party's fault Ireland is an infrastructure and planning basket case? Delusional and zero accountability.
