Yeah, but that still doesn't work because All of Scotland is a bloc of 5m. But London is 20m. So either Scottish people get 4x the votes of London or they're still outvoted by London. Add in the commuter towns &south coast and that gets to 30m pretty quickly. Lo and behold, we're were we started.

The essential issue is population. There is no fair way to confederate the union. Either n.i. votes are worthless or they're inflated 30x to prevent the English veto or they're reduced to a jurisdiction 1/10th the size of London. The best bet is to rejoin the E.U. as a bloc of 4 states.
