one thing i will say is that they’re hitting this thing very hard from the air which due to wind conditions was just not really an option during the LA fires (insane winds were prohibitive), so on that front the prognosis is likely a lot better

bears eat fascistsYikes, the amount of tanker aircraft assisting with the fire in Spokane is incredible - visible are 5 Canadair Scoopers and Super Scoopers, a Boeing 737, a Dehavilland tanker, at least three Sikorsky helicopters. There has also been a DC-10 tanker and now a DC-9 tanker. Just amazing coordination.
10+ years ago i searched the neighborhood for a friends bike that had just been stolen and then i found the guy who stole it riding it. threatened him with a toilet brush id grabbed somewhere and he gave the bike back. idk what the police would have done but i think that bike would still be gone
