I saw this headline and read a bit of it, and while it was destined to fail for obvious reasons, as someone who's done community theatre regularly, I don't approve of what he did, but I also understand it.

Some years back, I thought the way our news covered shootings in a matter-of-fact banality blurb was the same way international news covered car bombings in the Middle East. Unless it happens at a really "unique" area (like a music festival) or a lotta kids get killed, a few days coverage at best.

I respect ATLA for covering war crimes, genocide, and imperialism, from the perspective of an action-adventure comedy cartoon released during the Iraq War years (that's partly, imo, why it hit such a nerve). BUT, I also know it wasn't gonna go full on Shoah on the same slime network with Spongebob!

I know people will joke but I sincerely think the smartphone is a legitimate accomplishment. One of the few technologies that outpaced what many sci-fi authors and artists were predicting for decades prior of what phones could be, imo. A handheld PC/phone/camera/music player in your palm? Amazing!
