Madonna and Kylie together (again, technically, but not on new music before) is making me so emotional. How do you even describe the colossal effect each of them has had on my life and that of culture. They are indeed a love sensation.

Yoko Ono’s Season of Glass has finally been uploaded to streaming services and finally received a vinyl reissue that I am very eager to get ahold of. One of the greatest artistic works of the ‘80s. open.spotify.com/album/5WJlsO...

Do you think the Bette Midler fan club still exists at this New Jersey PO Box address that I found in the inside sleeve of my ‘No Frills’ vinyl (a second hand one from the ‘80s)?

I swear, these AI data centres are going to reopen the hole in the ozone layer like they’re the gateway to Narnia. Like they’re Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange. Just, ta dah! Here it is again, bitch. Jump on through. (Also lol I originally typed “Bumberbatch” 😆)

Do you think the suits at Amazon are aware that s2 of Jury Duty (aka Jury Duty Presents Company Retreat) is about a scummy venture capitalist firm lying and cheating to take over a small business, strip it for parts with no thought to its staff and that corporations are evil? Like, did they get it?

I used to love writing about film posters, but the art got so severely lacking that I gave up even paying attention. This design for IT ENDS is so great though; a true rarity.

I see that now people are pivoting towards THE ODYSSEY not being a perfect adaptation, which makes me laugh because technically every edition of the book has been an adaptation to some degree, as myths are want to do, changing with translations and interpretations. People are so stupid.

Season 1 drag race entrance look for the drag queen Andrea Taint.

There's something deeply amusing about HEARTSTOPPER FOREVER, with its lovey-dovey heart-eyes and its cutesy cartoon butterflies, being directed by Wash Westermoreland. He of THE FLUFFER and actual gay porn like DR JERKOFF AND MR HARD and the porn parody of THE RING (THE HOLE, naturally).

There’s a bit in THE ODYSSEY where Himesh Patel says “we’re Greek” and it’s like Nolan is actively trolling the dog whistlers and it’s honestly kinda great. Good for him.

Did Australia ever get the Kill Bill Whole Bloody Affair thing and I just missed it, or…?

Man, you just don’t see the Turner Pictures logo enough for how beautiful it is.

Amazing how quickly I go from chuckling at something to being stony faced the moment I see an ai hashtag hidden away in the caption.

Despite being ostensibly a dance album full of house, trance and EDM, Madonna's CONFESSIONS II might just be her most emotionally charged. Both in the songs themselves, particularly in that latter half, but also in the full context that it arrives. It makes me so happy to see her still so creative.

For someone who has referenced Elizabeth Taylor *multiple times* throughout her music career, every single thing about the Swift-Kelce wedding seems awfully on the nose. As Mitzi Del Bra once said: tack-a-rama!

Demanding critics be kind to an artform is always dangerous. Blithe praise for just any ol’ thing that comes along, popular or not, isn’t healthy for anybody. Least of all the people who pay to go see stuff that isn’t good and just encourages them to go less and less as a result.
