I'm looking forward to the day people stop saying "Raw Dog" for everything.

I would like to thank me for making a point of creating multiple paper trails for when my company receives payments. My accountant emailed last week, trying to reconcile a few checks we received, and today I was able to find each one.

It turns out that laying in bed, watching tv on tubi makes for a relaxing afternoon.

Awhile back, a friend of mine told me all about the pickled pineapple she had from The Pickle Guys in New York. We decided to get together and make our own.

As someone who stares at posters every day, this is a mother fucking poster! It's beautiful, inspired, original! I would be so excited to distribute this everywhere.

I put up posters at the neighborhood bookstore, and one of their cats, James, was posed so elegantly yesterday.

I worked in libraries from high school thru college. All my non-fiction is arranged by subject, but not necessarily in dewey order. My fiction is by author, of course.

Safeco field got sushi when the Mariners signed Ichiro. We now have Katsu curry, spam musabi, and ramen in the mix. Baseball food is great!

Also, I'd like to shout out Portland's bus system, Trimet. We barely drove this weekend, and got to see lots of different sides of Portland. Did you know they have a shuttle that drives around Washington Park, and drops you off at the Max station? It ruled!

Last night we went to Tartuca on Mississippi last night. Perfect italian dinner. The wine rec was perfect. Our pastas were delicious and our server was a sweetheart. It's a tiny place, so definitely make a reservation, but it is worth the visit.

God, I hate seating in most restaurants. I'm not even a large person, and I find the seating so hard on my hips and ass. When will comfortable chairs ever return?? Everyone deserves a good sturdy chair!

We stopped in at Powell's, and I spotted @keezyyoung.bsky.social on the recommend shelf!

We're currently in Portland for a little vacation. Our hotel provides complimentary robes and slippers. This morning, I shuffled down to the lobby where they have good coffee and tea in said robe and slippers. I felt like a long time wealthy elderly resident who acts like she owns the place.
