A Democrat saying "Black people shouldn't have healthcare" or "Jews aren't biological people" or "immigrants shouldn't be allowed to play sports" would be ostracized and condemned from coast to coast, so why should we accept these repulsive beliefs when it comes to trans people?

I mean, he did well enough in the car market for about a decade, although a lot of that was probably just cultural cache' & he's lost all of his cultural capital outside of the MAGA base. I think he will be able to release a niche market phone but that it'll be socially radioactive outside of MAGA

Yeah but the issue is education. We need to educate our neighbors if we want to fight this in a meaningful way, and people can only be educated when they seek education. I'm not saying it's impossible, but we'll need to set up grassroots effort to accomplish it & we have a lot going on already.

OK that is a really good point.

To be fair, most American ebikes are 100 lbs. or more now, and go 30 on throttle, and are almost impossible to pedal. They are basically mopeds. Some of the older models are more reasonable - sub-50 lbs., top speeds ~20, pedaling required. But most people prefer the moped, I think.

My sleep is shot b/c medication b/c broken leg. I'm trying to stay awake rn, but it's only 8. At least I can kinda walk now, but it's a long recovery (Dr. says 7 months) and it will be a while before I want to get on a bike again.
