In which I like putting little blocks on top of each other and continue to dislike Peterborough. @happyvolcano.com’s Midnight Moments was just the right level of chill I needed after the past two weeks of burning myself out on Zoom.

This week, Laura and I explore an episode that wouldn't exist if two people who are allegedly in a loving, committed relationship just sat down and a had a human (/half-Klingon) conversation. Which is, apparently, how you get Fast and Furious in space. Also Harry Kim is here.

I hope all my friends are ready to get this game for their birthdays. (This is a joke because I have one friend and I already gave her this game for her birthday).
Adam VianIn just a couple of days, The Mermaid Mask has already hit Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam! Thanks so much to anyone who played it and wrote a review
NEW: It finally happened, a 10/10 from Geoffrey. The Mermaid Mask is a deft and delightful murder mystery that sets a marker for how a game should be voice acted (with special mention for @amberleeconnors.bsky.social and @edwyntiong.com) and how good point-and-click games can, and should, be.
Not sure if getting older just means a lot of people who impacted me through the screen are just doing the same or my own increasing awareness of time passing means they hit harder. But it's been a tough few years of losing people who had a formative impact on me and this one hits especially hard.

It is time for some hot Data sex action as Laura and I relive Season One of The Next Generation (not yet knowing that Season Two is just as weird — that's foreshadowing). Come for the rehash of TOS and stay for the wide variety of pleasuring.

Decided to randomly rewatch Fleetwood Mac perform "Silver Springs" live from 1997 and am tickled by Stevie Nicks murdering Lindsey Buckingham on stage in front of thousands of people, and Mick Fleetwood is just sitting in the back all, "I fucking love the drums."
Heaving a very weary sigh— NEW: I spoke to those impacted by layoffs within XBOX's accessibility teams to try and understand the scale of those cuts and what they mean for accessibility going forward. It's all pretty bleak, but there *are* tiny shreds of hope.
If anyone impacted by layoffs from Microsoft/Xbox's accessibility teams is willing to answer a few questions about this, I'm writing up a quickfire news piece for today or tomorrow. Email in bio. Anonymity guaranteed.
Laura Kate Dale - LauraKBuzzGod, it looks like a LOT of Accessibility specialists were hit by today's layoffs at Xbox, inclusing some of their most senior accessibility folks. This feels like a REALLY bad sign for accessibility at Xbox going forward. A huge amount of skilled talent being thrown out as part of this "shake up".
NEW: What's this, actual journalism from Geoffrey? Last year, I spoke to developers who were stepping in to fill the gap in arcade flight shooters left wide open by Nintendo's tardiness in making a new Star Fox. There's challenges, nostalgia, and a whole lot of anthropomorphised animals in cockpits.
The VergeIndie developers got tired of waiting for a new Star Fox, so they’re making their own
