Concentration of signatures. For example, let’s say out of all the signatures made so far, 3.5% of them were coming from NYC. Now that chapter could decide if they want to strike on their own as a city. For emails, we recommend creating a separate email that’s encrypted like Proton.

Doesn’t exist, this help your chapter start one. Right now Los Angeles and San Diego have one. Colorado is working on getting theirs started.

to your local strike fund, get involved in local mutual aid, a community garden, food pantry, etc. Again, all this info is posted in that thread. During an actual strike, since you would be working, take a portion of your pay to support striking workers, which would go to your local fund. If a 👇

So, this is a personal decision, but for people who work in healthcare, we understand how you wouldn’t want to actually go on strike. However, there are tons of other ways to help with preparing for a strike. Join your local chapter (which that info is in the thread I posted), donate👇

It’s only going to get worse, and we don’t mean to fear monger, it’s just the objective reality. Especially when people within marginalized communities are asking us to shake a tail feather; warning us. Get involved in your chapter, get involved in mutual aid, start a strike fund
