Dropping it all at once has proven time and again to be a bad move. People need time to sit with an idea, and come up with theories about motivations or what happens next. Even if they are usually wrong, it is the process that is fun and engaging for a community.

It was between using the actual gif from that scene or the crow shouting boss weapons.

I miss being able to find someone and then spending the next day browsing through their entire collection. Then you could see their list of favorites and other artists, and follow the trail wherever it leads. Grouping art for reference or inspiration was useful too.

For some folks all they need is a little push to make the connection to media they already like. Deadlock, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Smash Bros, or the tournament arc in their favorite anime. Then they go, if they can see characters in that universe fighting, why not make their own with sad backstories?

I love the little tokens. Makes me wonder if someone can build a deck around them to win with the power of burgers and breakfast food.

The most exciting thing about a new #pathofexile league, after the trailer, is spending forever in the skill tree trying to map out a league themed build that will definitely work. It is one of the few videogames where I get to nerd out over spreadsheets and calculations.

I want to do some tests on my sound equipment and video software. The best way to do that, naturally, is by doing voices! If you have a character or #oc you want voiced (just for fun), I would love to give it a shot. Maybe do a compilation. Just basic references like personality or other characters.

The priority targeting also takes inspiration from certain board games and video games. IE, which figures to shoot first in a space of Zombicide, and what foes are out of reach in Darkest Dungeon or the much brighter Bug Fables and Paper Mario. 3/3

Characters up front are more suited to make melee attacks, and likewise can target enemies nearer to the front, while characters in the back favor ranged attacks. Position your party wisely. Ranged attackers may be able to hit anywhere, but they have specific targeting order. 2/

Combat in Cynder uses a form of range bands to figure distance for your attacks and abilities. You have the front, middle, and back row on each side of the encounter, somewhat similar to close and rearward stances in The One Ring. Characters in the front row are more likely to be targeted. 1/

Well, hope that works. At this point they just need to bury the cables if they can.

Our grocery store recently started carrying some unusual vegetables and cabbages we do not see around here, but mostly fruits like red bananas and jackfruit, and entire sugarcanes.

Cynder is inspired in part by fairytales and stories where folks didn't give up despite their size or the odds stacked against them. There is an element of darkness in such tales. They talk of death, pain and despair. But the folks in those stories never give up. They hold onto hope and persevere.
