Let them. We'll think of something else. The thing is - they won't leave. The UK is nicely safe and politically stable for rich people, and if you move to near or in London, can provide every service everywhere else can.

This is kinda why I bought a folding phone. I, too, miss the days when e.g. Nokia was doing Weird Shit with phone designs, even if they weren't practical. They were interesting, where now phone are mainly all near-identical anonymous-looking black slabs.

It didn't kill PC gaming, and it won't kill the Playstation either. Gamers aren't people who take principled stands, and there will be workarounds in some form. One or two diehards will switch platform, but the majority will just continue to buy games direct from Sony instead.

I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer. Physical media for PCs hasn't been a thing for around a decade. I have a Switch too, and I've never bought physical media for that either. I'm kinda wondering what the fuss is.
