Artists at conventions are real people who lovingly drew everything on display. Print “walls” are just paper. We will hear any fake-ally hot takes. We also know that kind of virtue signaling is meant to gaslight & alienate queer folks from quality rep, and next time, we will say something.

Thanks for the suggestion! Can it automatically get order info when people use your shop, or can you upload spreadsheets for a bulk of orders, or are you manually putting together each label one at a time? Every 3 months on shipstation we do a bulk fulfillment of 300 orders for subscribers.

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. But can you teach an elder millennial how to use a new platform for their shop and shipping and social media and subscriptions and preorders and and and

Seems like a blanket increase on shipstation today. Our cost to ship locally & to Cali are both up by a lot. There’s a lot of speculation about what’s accurate. Time will tell. Maybe we should look into pirate ship if their promise holds??? I’m just so tired of having to jump to new platforms.

Between tariffs, production cost increases, and shipping rate increases, it costs about 2x as much to make & deliver a pin vs 2020. Trying to figure out how much of the rate increase we can eat vs the % of customer loss if we increased prices a little. I’m tired.

The cost to ship pins has skyrocketed because USPS is now counting 1-4oz packages as 12-15.99 oz packages. This is a 36-44% increase for us. It’s gonna add up fast for everybody who sells pins, acrylics, etc.

Fan art is too risky to rely on. We make it on the side, only for stuff we really love, and basically only sell it at artist alley. Heck I barely even post it here because it dilutes our gay-little-critters-brand we’re trying to promote.

I did my first artist alley over 20 years ago. I was just excited to meet other Inuyasha fans & pay for my hotel. 12 years ago we started really going hard for artist alley cuz the NYC animation job market was so bad for Red & my dayjob wasn’t enough. The market just got worse since then.
