DC should do this. A tax on 2nd homes (& 3rd & 4th, etc) of the super rich won't fix inequality, or save public services. But it's a start. We could call it the "Peter Thiel tax". He owns a $15 million home in my neighborhood. Or the "Mark Zuckerberg tax": $23 million. Bezos has 2 houses: $40m.

Went to the ground breaking for the Piney Branch stormwater tunnel. It's a huge project but will reduce sewage overflows into Rock Creek from 25 a year to 1. It's a commitment of love and care for our environment and future generations. I hope one day we can safely swim in the creek.
