I just finished Season 2. Now this was magnificent storytelling: terrifying, tragic, moving, and cathartic by turn; it recaptured the anti-authoritarian spirit of the original trilogy that had captivated me as a child in the 90s, but with a much more subtle treatment of both empire and rebellion.
