I note the people who called Andy Burnham a conniving opportunist and advised him to stick to his current role aren‘t saying the same about Darren Jones.

For what it’s worth, Bridget Phillipson, is a loss to the Cabinet and Burnham’s missed a trick there by not appointing her to another Department or reappointing her.
